DJ MIKE
Professional DJ/Business Owner/Podcast Host
It’s been over 35 years since DJ Mike first stepped into the DJ business. At the tender age of 14, he fell in love with DJing and everything that came with it. Influenced by some of Dallas’s best DJs (DJ Urshy, DJ Rock, DJ KG, Casanova, & DJ Snake), Mike quickly became one of the best DJs in his neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. As a teen, Mike was DJ-ing events for schools and private parties, and even toured as the tour DJ for comedy shows and concerts. Today, DJ Mike is the founder and owner of DJ Mike Production, providing DJ services and more for over 20 years. He has DJ’ed hundreds of different types of events, from weddings to corporate functions. He’s also been the DJ for the D Ellis Morning Show and a guest DJ for N’rotation. DJ Mike is a true master of his craft. With his skills ranging from audio and video technician, to production and sound engineer, he’s sure to make any event memorable. We are proud to have such an experienced and talented DJ in our community.
DJ JAY P
Professional DJ/Business Owner/Podcast Host
From a young age, I had a deep love for music. My earliest memory was of my mom playing her Al Green records on Saturday mornings as we cleaned the house. I was mesmerized watching the DJ at teen dances and knew I had to learn how to DJ. My dream became a reality in 1990 at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey while I was serving in the US Air Force. I sent money with a friend to Germany to purchase two 1200 Technics Turntables, a mixer and some records. I became the DJ at the club on base and off base. During Desert Storm, I was flown to Northern Iraq to DJ for the troops on the 4th of July. I continued to DJ at my next duty stations at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX. I was blessed to be able to DJ events, host comedy shows, and even have a radio show (WJKX 1025) throughout my Air Force career. In 2005, I retired and moved to Dallas, TX. My love for music has taken me on a remarkable journey and I’m grateful for the memories.
